In this case due to light winds and a strong adverse current, Jeff just could not get away from the mark in the background, which is a channel marker in San Francisco Bay. The marks' designation is R2 Fl 6s, which means Red #2 Flashing 6 seconds, the sounds and lights making it identifiable at night or in a fog. Sail faster Jeff!
